About the Presenter and Daily Schedule
Dr. Hein Swanepoel is a psychologist in the Canadian provinces of British Columbia and Alberta. He has spent the bulk of his career working with complex cases, addressing the impacts of severe childhood abuse, sexual violence, and intergenerational trauma. The focus of his doctoral research was the development of integrative treatment models for complex trauma cases. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Swanepoel has taught both Masters and Doctoral level students as an Adjunct Professor of Behavioral Sciences, and overseen Masters research projects. He has acted as primary supervisor for several interns working towards licensure in clinical and counseling psychology, and has presented continuing education workshops on topics related to trauma and neurodevelopmental disorders to a range of health and mental health providers. Dr. Swanepoel has also submitted assessment reports that had been utilized in legal proceedings in both British Columbia and Alberta, and he has been qualified as an expert witness in psychological assessment by the provincial court of Alberta.

Attendees are required to book their accommodations directly through the Iberostar website using the promo code provided by CE Trips. Reservations made through third-party vendors, such as travel agencies, cannot be included in our group.

Attendees are required to stay on site at the Iberostar complex for this training. It is strongly recommended that you book your accommodation prior to registering for this training to ensure the complex/your preferred room is not sold out.

Attendees must be present for all scheduled training days and sign in and out each day to receive continuing education credit. No partial credit is available.

Due to frequent flight cancellations and delays, we strongly recommend flying out on or before the day prior to the start of training. No refunds, transfers, or continuing education credit will be given for any portion missed due to flight disruptions.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, CE Trips holds the right to change trainers to someone of equal expertise in the subject.

Cancellations must be submitted in writing to info@cetrips.com. If a cancellation is received 60 or more calendar days before the first day of the training, a full refund will be issued minus a 6% processing fee. If a cancellation is received 59 days to 10 days before the first day of the training, no refund will be issued; however, the participant will receive a one-time promo code for CAD $500 off a future training, valid for one year from date of issue. Cancellations received less than 10 days before the training begins are not eligible for a refund, credit, or promo code.
